Huomenna sunnuntaina 28.10.12 on mahdollista nähdä PDC Pori Dance Companyn ja korealaisen tanssimaailman kanssa tehdyn yhteistyön uusinta antia. Porin Teatterin lavalle saapuu mm. tanssija ja koreografi Jin-han Choi. Koko esityksen nimi, I Want You to Be Happy, kertonee osaltaan paljon illan positiivisesta tunnelmasta. Kotimaisena tarjontana tässä Nykytanssi-illassa nähdään Jorma Uotisen rakastettu ja kehuttu Huuto, jonka puolestaan tanssii PDC:n Mikko Lampinen.
Huuto/ Scream
PDC Pori Dance Companyn ja Korean tanssipiirien yhteistyö on jatkunut jo pitkään ja rikkaana. Ideoiden ja elämysten jakaminen on ollut hedelmällistä. Tanssiryhmän taiteellinen johtaja Liisa Nojonen on tuonut Poriin aiemmin mm. nykytanssin ammattilaiset Joung-hwa Leen, Yun-Kyung Leen ja Ryu Seok-Hoonin. Kesäkuussa 2011 puolestaan PDC vei Souliin Mikko Lampisen koreografian Bound till beyond. Myös Etelä-Korean suurlähettiläs Dongsun Park on ollut hyvin kiinnostunut tanssin viennistä kahden kulttuurin välillä.
Nykytanssin vanhoille ja uusille ystäville on sunnuntain esityksessä taatusti tarjolla herkkua, jota ei kannata jättää maistamatta. Esitys alkaa klo 19. Lippuja on mahdollista kysyä vielä ovelta 1,5 h ennen esitystä. Tervetuloa!

Tomorrow, on Sunday October the 28th 2012, everyone has a chance to see the latest result of the collaboration between PDC Pori Dance Company and Korean dance world. On the stage of Pori Theatre there will be for example dancer and choreographer Jin-han Choi. The name of the show tells a lot about the atmosphere of the evening: I Want You to Be Happy. Among Korean choreographies there will be also Finnish Jorma Uotinen's beloved and praised Scream (Huuto), which will be performed by Mikko Lampinen (PDC).
Collaboration between Finnish PDC Pori Dance Company and Korean dance community has continued well already for a long time. Ideas and experiences have been shared, which has been fruitful for both sides. Artistic director of PDC, Liisa Nojonen, has earlier brought to Pori for instance Joung-hwa Lee, Yun-Kyung Lee and Ryu Seok-Hoon, all Korean professionals of modern dance. Then again, in summer 2011 PDC travelled to Seoul with Mikko Lampinen's choreography Bound till beyond. This collaboration between two cultures has also interested very much Korean ambassador Dongsun Park.
For the old and new friends of modern dance tomorrow evening will promise something very tasty. The show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets can be also bought from the theatre 1.5 hours before the show. Welcome!
